Applications

  • REXALLOY®™44 is an ideal seat material for mating with REXALLOY®™35 in ball valve systems.
  • It is also an ideal material for MICROGAP®™ Valves as it offers both wear and corrosion resistance in required homogenizer equipment, with the added benefit of resistance to deformation and stress cracking under the extreme hydraulic compressive pressures applied during this operation. Superior performance results have been noted when these valve parts are Hot Isostatic Pressed after casting. This compaction enhances the materials overall performance in homogenizer applications.
  • REXALLOY®™44 is also used as an extrusion die insert for hot metal extrusions above 875° C (1,600°F)
