Applications

REXALLOY®™43 is an ideal "tool tip" material for hot flash trim applications, as well as interrupted cuts as it has more impact resistance than other REXALLOY®™ grades.
- It has also gained popularity as a relining material inside "Plastic Extruder Barrels"due to its excellent corrosion resistance, and wear resistance. Machined REXALLOY®™43 "tubes" are innovatively and economically pressed into
existing worn barrels, giving reported 10-12 times operational life over the age
old traditional materials.
- REXALLOY®™43 is also used as an extrusion die insert for hot metal extrusions above 875° C (1,600°F)
